Loose Natural Heliodor Gemstone!

Golden Yellow Beryl. Also known as Heliodor. I faceted this rich yellow gemstone into a rectangle design called "12 Boards."  Custom faceted by Linda.  This awesome Heliodor is a perfect gem for a unique jewelry piece such as a ring or a pendant! 

Golden Beryl comes from the same gem family as Emerald and Aquamarine! The name has been derived from a Greek word which mean "gift from the sun." It was discovered in Namibia in the year 1910 in a pegmatite. Today, the deposits of heliodor are found in Minas Gerais and Goias in Brazil, the Ukraine in Russia, and Connecticut and Maine.

I have recently seen Heliodor advertised as Yellow Emerald.
