Hello everyone,

I have been working long hours (some days as long as 19 hours) for about two and a half weeks now.  Just today, I have been up and working here since about 4:00 AM.  There is just so much to do!  It takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to recreate a totally new website.  It isn't just a matter of a few clicks and you are done.

I took me nearly two weeks just getting the inventory of loose gemstones entered into the new store after importing the whole list of gemstones and jewelry into the new platform.  To do that, there are images that have to be added to every product and categories to create and web pages to recreate. So much to do.  Practically each and every gemstone is a unique, one of a kind, item.  So I am talking about over 1,500 unique items. It isn't like we only have a few items that we sell. 

I have been slowly learning my way around the new platform for these past weeks.  I am getting there but there is still so much more to learn.  It sometimes takes me a several minutes to find what I am looking for.  I know that what I am looking for is there because I was there once before.  I keep asking myself now just where was it?  It sometimes gets a bit overwhelming.  

I just keep telling myself that it will all be worth it when all our current loyal customers and the many new customers get to explore the great new shopping experience.  It is going to be a lot more user friendly for the mobile customer especially.  I hope everybody enjoys the new look and feel of this new design!
