Product Overview
Natural Satin Flash Opal is ONE OF THE RAREST GEMSTONES IN THE WORLD!
Gem quality Satin Flash Opal, FACETED into a Princess Cut (Square) Design. Satin Flash Opal material is very rare to find veins that are thick enough to cut a gemstone. Comes from only one place on earth, a small knoll in southern Utah and most of the material is gone long ago. You have to see this Opal in person, looks like petrified ice!
A VERY UNUSUAL AND FANTASTIC GEM!!!! A Collector's Gemstone!
THIS IS A REALLY RARE PIECE!! THIS OPAL IS CUT FROM THE TOP OF A LARGE SATIN FLASH BUBBLE AND THE LIGHT ROLLS ALL AROUND THE PIECE AS IT MOVES THROUGH THE LIGHT!
This Satin Flash Opal was formed by a geyser or hot spring deposits of minerals. Satin Flash Opal is not found in most opal deposits in the world. It is found in very thin layers on the other opal or in small seams.
