Product Overview
Natural Satin Flash Opal is ONE OF THE RAREST GEMSTONES IN THE WORLD!
A totally different gem that is clear with spangles galore that catch the light. Picture does not do this showy Opal justice, the camera just can't keep up with everything going on inside this gem. This gem is faceted into an oval, hard to see the facets in the picture. You have to see this Opal in person, looks like petrified ice!
Gem quality Satin Flash Opal comes in veins thick enough to cut. Mined from only one place on earth, a small knoll in southern Utah and most of the material is gone long ago. Expertly faceted into a Trilliant design.
A VERY RARE, UNUSUAL AND FANTASTIC GEM!!!!
This Satin Flash Opal was formed by a geyser or hot spring deposits of minerals. Satin Flash Opal is not found in most opal deposits in the world. It is found in very thin layers on the other opal or in small seams. The location in Utah where this material comes from is the only known location where this adularescent material comes in veins thick enough to cut it.
A VERY NICE GEMSTONE OF A VERY DIFFERENT AND RARE MATERIAL!!
