I hand made this gorgeous carved Man in the Moon ring just for you!  This Rainbow Moonstone has Amazing Blue Purple Sheen!  I pounded and soldered the silver into a shape of the ring, the old fashioned way.  Then I bezel set this unusual hand carved cab into a custom made bezel ring setting.  Then giving hours of polishing to bring out the bright, shiny silver. 

All the components in the making of this ring are .925 Sterling Silver.  I oxidized the silver to give this ring a rich antique patina look. This ring is custom made, designed and hand forged by me.  It also is a one of a kind ring.  No two Moonstones are exactly alike and the adularescence (sheen) may be a different color.  All Moonstones have striations (tiny lines) inside them, this is what refracts the light to create the Blue Sheen you see as you move your Moonstone.  These Moonstones have all been carved by hand.  

Ring shank (band) is 3.2 MM wide.  Stamped .925.  Custom Made by Linda.

Adularescence:  is an optical phenomenon, similar to labradorescence and aventurescence, that is produced in gemstones such as Moonstones.
