Romantic Style Green Malachite Ring!  I designed and created this ring just for you!  A custom made sterling silver ring with a Halo of textured bronze that features a genuine 14 MM Malachite Cabochon from Africa. Malachite cab is bezel set into .925 silver.  The silver band is 4 MM wide, a wider band for comfort.  Custom Made by Linda.  The Malachite is set off on a tilt, I did not realize this until I was taking the pictures.  Also there are some very light surface scratches on the gem, hard to see, but I thought I would mention it.  I am going to put this beauty on sale because of this.  Ring is a size 8. 

Egyptians began mining Malachite as early as 4000 BC. Malachite was worn to protect against black magic and sorcery, so the ancient Greeks made amulets for children. Malachite is generally found in the weathered zones of nearly all copper deposits. Many copper prospectors seek Malachite, which indicates a good mining opportunity for copper.
Each malachite have different banded patterns within the stone.  I finished this ring with a brushed oxidized patina finish, and slightly polished for a finished look.
