Beautiful Drusy Necklace!  Druzy is black and white with copper streaks going through it and is bezel set into a sterling silver Pendant. The soft rubber 18 inch Black Cord closes with a easy slide inside each other end clasp.  Pull apart and push ends together to closer. Very easy on and off.  Custom made by Linda. 

Drusy, sometimes spelled Druzy, is a sparkling formation of fine sugar like crystals that form on a host rock.  Druzy is formed when dissolved silica is carried by ground water over or through the stone. The array of beautiful colors comes from a special process in which the Drusy is sometimes coated with a vapor of titanium or other precious metals, to give the Drusy iridescent metallic colors. Drusy is said to be connected with peace, tranquility, patience, intuition, unconditional love. Druzy is also believed to give relief of ulcers and arthritis.

Drusy is 7 on the MOHS scale for hardness.  Durable for jewelry, recommend bezel settings.
